The PADI underwater Photographer specialty course gives a more in depth look at using digital camera systems. The course explores different techniques to improve your underwater photographs using white balance, ISO, aperture, use of strobes, editing and techniques using the PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine and Adjust) method, which takes full advantage of the latest digital technology.

The course is in two parts. Part one covers the theory and application of practical skills, with a pool session to demonstrate these skills. Part two, having planned the photographs we want to take we will apply this knowledge on two open water dives before finally manipulating the images to the desired effect.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 10 years or older; No minimum age for snorkelers
  • Certified PADI open water diver or Snorkeler
